Singles on SS, Gilgongo and ITR have made this debut album from Los Angeles' Wounded Lion a highly anticipated one and this incredible record delivers the goods. Scrappy, poppy, joyous, silly, deadpan and sincere. With a sound that's fresh, despite celebrating everything from the Velvets to The Clean, with some CCR thrown in for good measure. Incredible stuff!
